Abstract
In whole cut flowers of Dianthus cargophyllus L., 3×10 -8 1 MCP treatment could markedly promote bloom ,increase the volume and improve the quality of the carnation . The treated flowers stayed turgid and the vase holding life was longer compared with untreated flowers. Studies showed that 1 MCP treatment could increase the content of soluble protein in petal .Relative permeability of petal plasma membrane, which is a reliable indicator of petal membrane senescence , was retarded in 1 MCP treated flowers.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
