Abstract
Connect ing Rod is one of the most important transmission parts in aircraft piston engines, under the action of alternating load, connecting rod are prone to fatigue fracture. It presents a three-dimensional model for a connecting rod of a certain type of aviation engine created by Pro/E,and the model is imported to ANSYS WORKBENCH software, and smart grid partition method is used for meshing.Through connecting rod load stress analysis,it builds the finite element model for the maximum tensile and maximum compression conditions, then proceeds to the analysis of finite element,to get the stress and strain of the connecting rod, find out the dangerous parts, providing theoretical basis for failure analysis of connecting rod.
