Abstract
[Objective] To understand the status of lumbar degenerative disease among bus drivers, as well as the effect of health education. [Methods] An statistical analysis was made on the physical examination results of 3365 bus drivers with lumbar degenerative disease.[Results] Of 3365 drivers, prevalence rate of lumbar degenerative disease was 35%, that for males was 33.9% and for females was 37.9%. Considering the age groups, the incidence increased with ages.[Conclusion] Bus drivers are the high-risk group of lumbar degenerative disease, targeted health education is significant in improving their lumbar degenerative disease.
