Abstract

This paper introduces the structure and features of M28945 and M28927 chipset empoldered by America Mindspeed Company.The design of software and hardware based on this chipset is given.The transmission unit can transmit operational information via line and intercalate the parameter using exterior program.The parameters of the chipset can be configured using singlechip or RS232 port,so the system has strong expansibility.Digital signals can be transmitted to a distance of four kilometers using a twisted-pair.
