Searching for the Homeland of Philosophy

Through careful observation of the predicament of philosophy in the 20th century,the author of this article points out that the philosophy in the 20th century was featured by a kind of cultural separation,contradiction and confrontation.The only way out of this adversity is to reconsider the definition of philosophy so that philosophy can surpass the traditional sense of philosophy in the new cultural background and avoid the nihilism and extremity of post modernism.The functional nature of philosophy is of a kind of spiritual quality and philosophy itself influences human culture and practice mainly through its spirit.
