Abstract
After analyzing the limitations of traditional network management system, a network management system model based on distributedcomponentware is proposed, the description of the function of the fault management part is also given. The paper introduces the mobile agenttechnology and puts forward the design of the application framework based on the above model using mobile agent technology. In the end, itevaluates the performance of the network fault management system. The results of this evaluation prove the system will possess nice performanceattributes.
