Abstract

Famous veteran doctor of traditional Chinese medicine Professor LU Zhi-zheng,creates the name ZaoBi(dryness impediment) for a series of diseases,which include Sjogren's syndrome.The name has been recommended for clinical practice by rheumatism academy of China association of Chinese Medicine.In the opinion of Professor LU,the deficiency of both vital energy and yin is the main mechanism of ZaoBi.Through summarizing Professor LU's theory of ZaoBi,we try to approach the mechanism of Sjogren's syndrome in TCM.
