Abstract

Objective The aim of this study was to analyse the sign and prognosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome in this area. Methods 60 patients with Guillain-Barre Syndrome who lived in this area and were hospitalized were assessed. Results The incidence of Guillain-Barre Syndrome is highest in summer in this area, but there are also incidence in other time. 51.7 percent patients with Guillain-Barre Syndrome have accountable induced reasons. The first sign included muscle nerveless, sensory defect, respiratory paralysis and autonomic nerves defect. The prognosis of the patients in this study is good expect 3 patients died from respiratory paralysis. Conclusions The incidence and the died rate of Guillain-Barre Syndrome in this area are lower and it's prognosis is better than in other area.
