Abstract

Objective To study the clinical factors influencing prognosis of breast cancer. Metheds 100 patients of postoperate breast cancer were followed-up for 71.34 months. The data were processed with survival analysis, and multivariate analysis was done with Cox proportional hazard model. Results Lymph node, tumor site, tumor size,TNM clinilal stage, tumor recurrence and expressions of ER and PR were significant factors influencing the prognosis. There was marked difference in 5-year survival rate among the factors, and P values were respectively 0.0012,0.0031,0.0032,0,0,0.0014 and 0.0041. The outcome of Cox model proportional hazard regression indicated Lymph node, TNM clinilal stage, tumor recurrence and expressions of ER were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion Early diagnosis, early operation and endocrine treatment were key factors in improving the prognosis, assessing clinical stage and early finding metastases and recurrence.
