Zhu Yuanzhang’s Attitude to the Intellectuals and the Policy about the Intellectuals in Hongwu Era

From the beginning of the revolt to the time before the founding of Ming Dynasty, in order to win the support of intellectuals , more to seize power, Zhu Yuanzhang intently recruited heroes and kindly treated intellectuals, which was called Ming Zu Valued Scholars. After the founding of Ming Dynasty, Zhu's attitude towards scholars changed silently from valuing to ruling, which was called Ming Zu Reining Scholars. The change showed the formation of a series of intellectual policies.
