Control Effect and Evaluation of Three New Pesticides on Cnaphalocrocis Medinalis (Guenee)

Abstract

The control effects of three new pesticides(18 g/L of Percutaneous Abamectin EC,20% of EmamectinBenzoate.Chlorpyrifos WP and 30% of Chlorpyrifos.RH5849 WP) on the third generation of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenee) were experimented in 2009.The results showed that the control effect of 18g/L of Percutaneous Abamectim EC was outstanding,which were all over 98.3% in the treatments of 1200 ml/hm2 and 1 500 ml/hm2.Therefore,it suggested that 18g/L of Percutaneous Abamectim EC could be spread and applied widely.The control effect of 20% of Emamectin Benzoate.Chlorpyrifos WP could reach 94.5 % when applied it to the field with a dosage of 1 500 g/hm2,so it also could be spread and applied widely.The control effect of 30% of Chlorpyrifos.RH5849 WP was normal,so it could be only used as an example when Cnaphalocrocis medinalis(Guenee) was at occurrence peak,and the dosage should not be less than 1 500 g/hm2.These three new pesticides were all safe for the growth of the rice.
