Comparison of Protective Measures for Foundation Pit Excavation in Districts of Rich Shallow Ground Water

Abstract

This paper introduces control technologies of well-point dewatering in detail for foundation pit excavation of Shugang railway in Panjin,expounds well-point dewatering principles in connection with actual construction experiences of well-point dewatering before foundation pit excavation of bearing platform and culvert,and particularly illustrates spaces between wells and designs of dewatering well depth.
