Abstract

Bus rapid transit(BRT) generally uses uniform departure frequency in operations. However, due to practical factors, the arrival headway of bus always has volatility.A BRT line model was built with Vissim simulation software.Through group tests, the data of BRT arrival headway were collected.Furthermore, the volatility of BRT arrival headway under the influence of different stop locations, departure frequencies, signal controls was analyzed.
