Abstract
Traits related to flowering in maize have a close relationship with maturity and yield of maize.By using the F_(2:3) mapping population of CN165×Dan 330(early maturity germplasm, quantitative trait loci(QTL) analyses for flowering-related traits were conducted with totally 130 families under three environments. The results indicated that ten QTLs on chromosome2,3,4,5,7 and 8,respectively,were detected for days to tasseling and a common QTL on chromosome 8 was detected under the three environments.Ten QTLs on chromosome 1,2,3,5,7 and 8,respectively,were detected for days to anthesis, and a common QTL on chromosome 8 was detected locating under the two environments.Four QTLs on chromosome 4,5 and 8,respectively,were detected for days to silking, while two QTL on chromosome 6 and 9,respectively were detected for anthesis-silking interval(ASI) under one environment. Most of these QTL showed overdominance or partially dominance. The results suggested that the interval from phi060 to umc2401 on chromosome 8(8.03-8.04) is an important genomic region with many QTLs conferring traits related to flowering, and the SSR markers associated can be useful in marker-assisted selection.
