Abstract
Objectivc To evaluate the diagnosis effect of ambulatory electroencephalogram (AEEG) in 24h tape record monitoring system for epileptiform patients. Methods Oxford Medilog PM D-12AEEG Monitoring system was used in 77cases.AEEG results were compared with that of ordinary EEG.Symptoms of the Patients were observed detailly while AEEG recording. Results Epileptiform activities were recorded by AEEG in 36 (46. 75% )patients. The POsitive rate is obviously higher than that of routine EEG results. Conclusion AEEG examination is a very important method in epilepsy diagnosis, especially in the patients who are considered to be epilepsy but not have being recorded epileptiform activities in ordinary EEG.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
