Abstract
To study the phenomena of two-phase flow with salt crystallizing in the centrifugal pump, the 3D turbulent flow in the impeller of centrifugal pump was simulated at the condition of rinsing. The turbulent flow mode based on Reynolds time-averaged control equations and two-equation turbulent mode were adopted.By applying the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT 6.1,the liquid flow inside the centrifugal impeller was simulated. The Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) was adopted to obtain the inner flow field of centrifugal pump.At the same time, combined with numerical calculation and experimental test, flow in the pump was analyzed.Measurement result shows that the modification of model accords with the inner flow of the pump basicly.
