Abstract

For scientifically and objectively evaluating the control effect of compound coccidia powder on experimental chicken coccidiosis, the chicken coccidiosis was copied by artificially inoculating Eimeria tenella sporulated oocysts and the clinical efficacy trial of controlling chicken coccidiosis with the pure Chinese medicine prescription compound coccidia powder was performed. The effects of compound coccidia powder on the mortality, relative weight gain rate, lesion score and oocyst score of tested chicken were observed and calculated and its anti-coccidia index (ACI) was obtained. The experimental results showed that feeding chicken with feed containing 1.0 % compound coccidia powder had better efficacy on chicken coccidiosis.
