Abstract
The influence of the reaction force of the unstable soil mass from the piles on the lateral force is not considered in the current design of prestressed anchor pile.Taking into account that the pre-stress of the anchor affects pre-reinforcement of the soil mass, the paper discusses the distribution of pre-reinforcement force of the soil mass.Based on deformation consistence between the pile and anchor, the pre-reinforcement force of the anchor is introduced into the design method. As the change of lateral sliding force acts on the pile, the prestressed force of the anchor should be calculated according to the long time load, while the effect of the short time load should be considered in the bearing capacity design of the anchor and pile. The paper also compares this method with the conventional method with an actual project in Chongqing.
