Thoughts of Cultivating Practical Talents of Chinese Majors in Regional Science and Engineering Colleges

Modern society needs practical talents with good hands-on skills.However,the traditional Chinese majors stress the theory and undervalue the practice.As a Chinese-specialized subject in regional polytechnic colleges,how to found its orientation based on marketing demand and supply,correctly identify its own position,manage it in specific features and find its own living space have currently become the focus attention.This paper explored the establishment of curriculum system,classroom teaching reform,enhancement of practice links and the construction of teachers’ team,etc.,so as to cultivate applied talents who can meet the needs of social and economic development.
