Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship among HBV serological markers, pre-C 1896 mutant and virus loading in patients with hepatitis B. Methods: The HBV serological markers, HBV pre-C 18% G→A mutation and serum HBV DNA loading in 100 HBsAg positive sera of patients with hepatitis B were detected by E1A. PCR with specific primers fluorescent PCR assay, respectively. Results: The detection rates of non-mutant, non-mutant/mutant and mutant were .16.6% (27/58), 53.4% (31/58) and 0% (0/58) in HBeAg positive patients . 4.8% (1/21), 33.3% (7/ 21 ) and 6 1. 9%, (13/21) in anti-HBe positive patients respectively. There was no significant defference between HBV DNA loading of non-mutant/mutant in HBeAg positive and that in anti-HBe positive sera. In the sera with only mutant, HBV loading were lower than sera with non-mutant and nun-mutant/mutant .Conclusion: HHV in HBeAg positive serum was mainly non-mutant and non-mutant/mutant. and in anti-HBe positive serum was mainly mutant. The replication level of mutant HBV is lower than non-mutant and non-mutant/mutant.
