Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of IL-10 on the expression of TGF-B1 at the different stages at exeri-mental rat liver fibrosis. Methods: The experimental rat liver fibrosis model was established and the different stages of liver tissues were obtained from control group (group C), model group (group M) and IL-10 treated group (group T), respectively. The expression of TGF-ft at different stages in the development of liver fibrosis was measured by S-P immunohistochemistry on each group. Results: The CCl4-induced experimental rat liver fibrosis model was successfully established. The positive expression of TCF-B1 was increased with the development of fibrosis, Redit analysis indicated that there was significant difference between group C and group M(P0. 01): however, the positive expression of TGF-B1 in group T was decreased with the compare of group C; which also showed significant difference by Redit analysis (P0. 01). Conclusions: The expression of TGF-B1 increased in the progress of liver fibrosis:IL-10 has the fibrogenesis-inhibiting effect on the CCl4-induced rat liver fibrosis.
