Abstract
The electric imbalance of 1-tower double-circuit transmission line depends on both conductor spatial arrangement and phase sequence. Therefore, to minimize line imbalance, conductor transposition, as well as proper phase sequence and transposition orientation have to be used. For the east Lanzhou-Pingliang-Qian County 750 kV 1-tower double-circuit transmission line project, it is recommended that conductors should be arranged in reverse phase sequence , and two reverse transpositions, which are applied in east Lanzhou-Pingliang section and Pingliang-Qian County section respectively, should be used to meet the line imbalance limit.
