Preliminary-Study of TVU English Teaching with Internet Resources

The fast development of the modern information technology, which is based on the Internet, has brought the human being into a new information era. More and more English teachers have realized that internet resources are of great help in English language teaching, for it not only provides real language learning environment, but also unlimited digit information resources for English teaching. This paper offers a detailed introduction to the major and well-known English language teaching and research web pages, electronic forums as well as magazines, and discusses how to make use of internet resources to enrich English teaching both in contents and techniques, so as to improve English teaching in distance education
