Abstract
In this study,five bacterium strains were isolated from oily sludge produced by oil extraction in Zhundong Oil Field in Xinjiang to compose the complex bacteria,and the complex bacteria are used in the biodegradation of the oily sludge with different oil contents.Three doses of the complex bacteria were added into the oily sludge with oil content varying in a range of 5%~26.7%,and the bacteria were inoculated at temperature of 30 ℃.The results show that a significant biodegradation effect of the oily sludge can be achieved with the complex bacteria after they experience a 10-day adaptive period,the biodegradation rate of the oily sludge with oil content varying in a range of 5%~26.7% can be increased from 20.5% to 48.5% within a 20-day inoculation period,and the high degradation rate of the complex bacteria can be still maintained after 20 days.The results reveal that the respiration intensity of the complex bacteria during the stable-change period can be used to characterize the adaptive period and the effective biodegradation rate of the bacteria during inoculation,which is more intuitionistic and rapider than that using microbial mass to indicate the biological intensity.The biodegradation of the complex bacteria is more applicable in treating the oily sludge with oil content lower than 10%.The biodegradation rate can be doubled and doubled by adding the complex bacteria if an enough adaptive period is provided.
