Abstract
Utilizing Visual Fortran and Visual Basic,polytrophic exponent of natural gas in compression and expansion was calculated.By mathematical analyzing,the relationship between polytrophic exponent and temperature and pressure was get,the shortage of getting polytrophic exponent by looking diagram was solved,and the precision and efficiency were risen.
