Abstract

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effects of serial M incision in the diseases of scrotum and penis. Methods:Relevant serial M-scrotum incisions were applied to correct the variant deformity of scrotum and penis in 71 cases.Improved anatomic shape, physiologic function and quality of life were observed and compared with preoperation. Results:The effect of nearly normal scrotal appearance and basis of penis were showed after serial M-scrotum incision in 11 cases with the typeⅠand in 48 cases with the typeⅡ.Microscrotum expansion and orchidopexy were just once completed in 8 cases with the type Ⅲ and the physiology function improved apparently.Type Ⅳ was used to correct penial wane with urethroplasty in 4 cases. The urination was unobstructed. Conclusions:Serial M-scrotum incision was of application value for the diseases of scrotum and penis.
