Mechanism research of the relationship between marine economy development and the macroeconomic growth:taking the development of marine economy in Shandong as an example

Marine economy has become the new growth point of the whole economy in China.As a large maritime province,Shandong has been developing marine economy quickly in recent years.By taking the development of marine economy in Shandong as an example,this paper uses VAR model to analyze the relationship between the marine economy development and the macroeconomic growth. The empirical analysis finds the marine economic growth can efficiently promote the development of the whole economy,but the influence that the macroeconomy exert on the marine economy will emerge in one or two years.According to the conclusion,the paper also puts forward rational suggestions in term of promoting the growth of marine economy.
