The Fusion of Culture and Economy:A New Historic Opportunity of Cultural and Economic Development

The history of human economic development is the process wherein culture and economy integrates with each other. With the advent of knowledge economy and the globalization era,the interaction between culture and economy has become more and more prominent. The fusion of culture and economy has bred out a new socio-economic formation: cultural economy. As China's cultural-economy is a socialist one with Chinese characteristics,we need to construct the theoretical system of Chinese cultural economics starting with generalizing the basic theory of cultural-economy,summarizing the historical experience of Chinese culture and economic development and investigating the inner relationship between human creative thinking and the cultural-economy. This way,we could build the contemporary Chinese cultural economics that really reflects and promotes Chinese cultural and economic development.
