Advances of the study on pharmacogenomics and reasonable use of drugs

Objective To introduce pharmacogenomics and its applications to establishing clinical pharmacotherapeutic schemes.Methods Being based on the analysis of the related literature,the development and contents of pharmacogenomics and clinical pharmacogenomics and their relationship with individualized medication were summarized.Results Pharmacogenomic studies proved the relationship between the gene polymorphisms and the variety of drug effects.Conclusions Pharmacogenomics provides a theoretical basis for medication with safety,effectiveness and rationality.
