Abstract
A high temperature resistant superabsorbent was prepared through solution polymerization based on sodium acrylate at 25 ℃,usingtriallylammonium chloride(TAAC) as crosslinker,2,2'-azobis[2-(2-imidazolin-2-yl) propane]dihydrochloride(VA-044) as initiator respectively. The effects on water absorbency at 200 ℃ such as mass ratios of crosslinker to AA,initiator to AA and neutralization degree were studied. Results showed that the swelling ratio of superabsorbent synthesized at the optimum conditions was 824 g / g in distilled water and the superabsorbent displayed good salt and pH resistance at high temperature.
