Abstract
Based on the idea that shunting operation is a course of eliminating all inverseorders in the car flow waiting for formation, a new method of shunting operation, elimination of inverseorder, is presented and its application in shunting operation under the restricted operation conditions, such as restriction and dynamical changing of the number of tracks applied, is discussed in this paper. Examples have shown that this method is of high efficiency and adaptability and can be applied in improving efficiency of shunting, optimizing the operation course and realizing automation of commanding.
