A New Insight into Wang Yangming's Poetics on Philosophy of Mind

Abstract

Wang Yangming's poetics on the philosophy of the mind is the inheritance and the transcendence of the Confucian poetics in the Pre-Qin Period and is also the washback of Zhu Xi's Neo-Confucian poetics.Wang Yangming's poetics on the philosophy of the mind is based on his conscience ontology,advocating the integration of poetry with Confucian doctrine,personal passion and general education,and leading to the joyful poetic life.Wang Yangming's poetics opens up the self-satisfied world of free thinking and poetic life,and has its universal value.Since the mid-Ming Dynasty it has exerted a great influence on the poetic development,and provided fresh theoretical resources.
