Evaluation on the Operation of Hospital Ethics Committee and Relevant Explorations

An evaluation research on the operation of hospital ethics committee has been conducted during the period from Nov.2004 to Oct.2006 in order to investigate understanding of various people on the ethics review and ethics surveillance conducted by hospital ethics committees,and to establish and perfect the relevant administration regulations of hospital ethics committees.A questionnaire was also conducted in November,2006,with the result as follows.The establishment and active operation of hospital ethics committee have improved the understanding on bioethics and concerned legislation of extensive medical staff,scientific researchers,medical administrators,and meanwhile promoted the regulation of medical practice and clinical researches.Moreover,the current focal working target of hospital ethics committee has also been revealed in the questionnaire.
