Benefited from long time work on folk literature,products of Xiao Guosong are penetrated with rural earthy fragrancy.Through the dissemination of Xiao’s works,the folk traditions of Tujia are recognized in modern society and play a role in the process of the general construction of ethnic culture.In the transition from tradition to modernity,Xiao Guosong has interpreted Tujia ethnic culture and constructed his own cultural identity.
