Abstract
The next Internet Protocol (IPv6) has become the hot issue of today's Internet development. One of its good features is better network security. However, there are indeed a lot of security problems in IPv6, and these problems are overlooked now. This paper will analyze the security threat in IPv6 protocol and in IPv4/IPv6 transition technology.
