Abstract
The MODIS(Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) data with multi-spectral provide the possibility of study the global cirrus clouds thoroughly.Based on the cirrus radiation model, the cirrus clouds reflectance in visible spectral region were derived by using the correlation of the image data of MODIS 1.38 μm band(Channel NO.26) and 0.66 μm band(Channel NO.1).The typical MODIS image was devided into different pieces. Then cirrus clouds reflectance were calculated and compared with the results of the 1 km resolution MODIS 1B date.It is shown that the more the segmentation of the MODIS image is,the higher accuracy of the retrieved results is.This conclusion is consistent with the theoretical analysis. At the last,a practical application of the retrieved result is given.
