Abstract

The idea of modeling transparent network simulation to users and reappearing communication network realistically by utilizing interactive network simulation technologies was advanced. The application of network simulation technologies in interactive simulation through High Level Architecture (HLA) was pointed out. In this way, the shortcoming that current simulation software could only simulate network models with fixed parameters was conquered. Realizing communication between network simulation software and external users was implemented by joining network simulation software and user console into HLA, and exchanging information through RTI, which acts as a soft bus in the system. In this way, traditional discrete-event-driven simulation software, which could not provide interface to external users, is able to interact with users while running and thus interactive network simulation system is realized.
