Abstract

A series of solid superacid catalysts S2O2-8/ZrO2-SiO2 was prepared successfully by method of precipitation—impregnation.The catalytic activity was affected by prepared condition through esterification reaction of acetic acid and isobutyl alcohol.Experimental results showed that S2O2-8/ZrO2-SiO2(n(Zr)∶n(Si)=1∶3) had highest catalytic activity.Process of crystal formation and surface area and sulfur content of S2O2-8/ZrO2-MxOy was analysed by XRD、SEM、IR techniques and chemical analysis.
