Abstract
By means of laboratory bioassay,the allelopathy effect of water extract from invasive plant Ipomoea purpure on seed germination and seedling growth was investigated,using the two cabbage varieties.The results showed that: The lower concentrations extract accelerated the germination percentage,root length,but the higher concentrations had the inhibition.Only the highest concentration had the inhibition on the shoot height,other concentrations could accelerate the shoot height.The water extract inhibited vigor index.The inhibition showed enhanced trends with the increasing of the concentrations.The extract had the diff Zhengwangda 88.
