Abstract
Quasi-Zenith Satellite System(QZSS)is a GPS augmentation system that uses a constellation of satellites placed in multiple inclined geo-synchronous orbit(IGSO)planes to obtain higher precision and availability.The characteristic of QZSS is the high elevation angle of satellites,so the users can receive signal continuously even if they situated in the urban canyon or mountainous terrain.QZSS will transmit navigation signals which have compatibility and interoperability with GPS and the other GNSS.This paper is a description of the signal structure and properties of QZSS.
