On the Harmful Trends in Humanistic Spirit Studies

Abstract
In the present humanistic spirit studies, there are four typical harmfultrends: to overrate the work of the humanistic spirit, to be anti-scientific, to reject and deveate from Marxism and to be intellectualized. These trends are harmful to the reconstruction and development of the humanistic spirit. This essay analyses humanistic thoughts, proposes the idea og a scientific humanism, and suggests a combination of the humanistic spirit with Marxism in a larger sense of popularization.
