COX multivariate regression analysis of prognostic factors for cutaneous malignant melanoma

Abstract

Objective To determine the independent prognostic factors influencing long-term survival rate of the patients with cutaneous malignant melanoma(CMM).Methods Univariate and COX multivariate regression analysis was performed on patients with CMM.Results Gender,age,anatomical site,histological type,Clark level and Breslow thickness were significantly correlated with prognosis by univariate analysis.Multivariate analysis revealed that gender,age,Clark level and Breslow thickness retained independent predictive value for CMM.Conclusion Gender,age,Clark level and Breslow thickness are independent prognostic factors for CMM.
