Abstract
A new method to construct adjacency matrix from the topology relation among adjacent edges is introduced. Based on the adjacency matrix,an approach to search rooms in architectural plan is proposed to identify the topology relations among rooms, walls and vertices quickly and accurately. Implementation of the approach, together with its applications is given in detail.
