Preliminary Study on young forest tending about plantation of Larix

Abstract

Larix forest is one of fast growing and high yield timber species. Young forest tending methods about plantation of Larix were studied. In Nonghe forest farm of Xinglong Forestry Bureau. And summarized the research results preliminarily. The results showed that the tending method of 2,2,1 times and consecutive 3 years was suitable for young forest of Larix.,it also would be prolonged 1-2 years. If vegetation coverage was in the larger conditions.
