It is imperative for us to have a correct understanding of the position and function of moral education under socialist economy.Moral education not only is subordinate to market economy and should go with it but also through its peculiar guidanc directs propelling market ecnomy on a higher level.Theoretically,it is defined by the nature ofmoraleducation and objectively it is required by the healthy and all-round development of market economy.The objective of moraleducation is to build up an advanced socialit or communist ideological system as a spiritualbackbone for our people.To establish a value characterized by serving the people.Thus forming a new social order based on collectivism and to lay a mutual-believing and cooperative basis in the market economy.Thus providing a long-term stable and favorable environment for the development of economy enough attention should be paid to the osition of moral education in order to allow a fullactive play to it.
