Abstract

As a pressing and challenging task,the reform of college English teaching is a hot issue in recent years.With focus on the teaching practice and development in local colleges and universities,this paper presents an analysis of the existing problems as far as the reform is concerned,and furthermore,a discussion of the corresponding strategies from 4 aspects: namely,conceptual transformation,teacher development,course construction and teaching environment.
