A Study of the Social Responsibility of General Undergraduate College Students

The purposes:to find out the general status of university students'social responsibility.The methods:this study takes university students in 7 average universities in Southwest region of China as samples,and uses Zhao Xingkui's The Questionnaire of University Students'Social Responsibility to test.The results:(1)The total average of university students'social responsibility is 3.49.(2)The main social responsibility for university students is material responsibility,the second one is cultural responsibility,and the last one is group responsibility.(3)University students'social responsibility have significant difference in sex and grade(p﹤0.001),also it has big difference in major(p00.05).The conclusions:(1)Contemporary college students'sense of social responsibility is better on the whole.(2)Uuniversity students'social responsibility has big difference in dimensions of level,from strong to weak,they are group responsibility,meterial responsibility and culture responsibility.(3)Uuniversity students'social responsibility has big difference in sex,grade and major.
