Chinese Intellectuals and Their Rational Identity

Theoretically, acting in morality and justice and being relatively independent is of importance to intellectuals. But role in ideology makes them objects to win over by different camps. Obviously, today’s intellectuals and mass media can promote each other. But the five diversifications in market economy make intellectuals deintellectualized. Influenced by special factors of China, not only intellectuals will be polarizing, but public intellectuals may come forth in due time. Necessarily, rational and scientific strategies should be taken. As an intellectual, paying attention to animadvert on arms is as important as acting as arm of animadverting.
