Abstract
The aim of this work is to recycle trace N-butyl acetate from dilute aqueous solution.Polyether block amide/poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PEBA/PVDF) composite membrane was prepared by cast. The swelling behavior of membrane in N-butyl acetate dilute aqueous solution was explored. The effect of dipping time, temperature as well as concentration on the swelling degrees was also measured.Mechanical property of the membrane was investigated by stretching test.N-butyl acetate was separated from its aqueous solution by pervaporation experiments. The influence of feed concentration and temperature on separation performance of the membrane was tested. The results of swelling and pervaporation experiments show the membrane has very nice swelling and pervaporation behavior in N-butyl acetate aqueous solution. The flux and separation factor are 280.43 g/(m2·h) and 308.65,respectively,at 40 ℃ as well as 0.6%(mass fraction) feed concentration.
