Abstract
Objective:To study infection and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and the Mycoplasma hominis(Mh)in the female genitaltract in Area of Fuyang to guide the usage of the antibiotics. Methods:The retrospective analysis of indentification and the antimicrobial susceptibility of mycoplasma in 4097 female cervical secretions from Jan.2008 to Nov.2009 was conducted in our hospital. Results:In 4097 cases, the positive rate of mycoplasma was 63.19%.The infection only by Uu accounted for 47.59%,by Mh for 2.8%.and the mixed infection for 12.79%.The highest rate of Uu showed it was the main pathogen contributing to the Mycoplasma affection. The results of drug sensibility test showed that drug resistance of mycoplasma were diffirent among three types of mycoplasma infections. Conclusion:The infection rate of mycoplasma from female cervical secretions is higher in Area of Fuyang. It is important to culture and test the drug sensitivities of mycoplasma for choosing drugs rationally and control the resistant strains.
